Therapy Services

Therapy involves understanding your unique context and what factors have led you here. Together we establish your strengths, what is important to you, and the areas of your life you need support within.

This could be about life goals, relationships with yourself and/or others, or simply helping you to gain a better understanding of your thoughts, behaviours and feelings to strengthen and cultivate psychological flexibility and fitness.

Therapy is a collaborative process that you are actively engaged in, learning new skills that can bolster your resilience in the face of life’s challenges and support your ability to enact positive change.

 

Approach

I provide therapy services using third wave behavioural therapies based on Contextual Behaviour Sciences such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Functional Analytic Psychotherapy, Process Based Therapy, Clinical Behaviour Analysis, Mindfulness, Behaviour Activation, Graduated Exposure, Habit Reversal and Motivational Interviewing. I may integrate technology where appropriate to support clients with the change process. The approach is tailored to each client ensuring that the support provided is evidence-based and effective. Using your values and motivation you are supported to understand your difficulties and strengths within your unique context. Together we will map out the steps that move you towards a more meaningful and vital life.

 

Fees

Sessions are 50-minutes in length and cost $200. Depending on your needs, we recommend weekly sessions to begin with and aim to reduce the frequency as you progress, continuing until you have reached your goals. The number of sessions required to reach your goals will vary and will be discussed during your initial session.
